Pistol Pete (Rhett Minson) polishes his image on the floor of Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The "rowdiest arena in the country," built in 1939, was originally the 4-H Clubs
and Student Activities Building. Gallagher-Iba is now undergoing a $51-million
renovation to bring it up to date for a new era of champions.
